MISSION

The House of Letters is guided by a passionate belief in preserving the art of etiquette and correspondence. Through our workshops and events, our instructors and guest speakers inspire people of all ages to learn etiquette, social skills, and handwriting. Our programs are rooted in the values of respect and kindness. We encourage people to engage in meaningful communication in-person and through letter writing. We believe that developing a skill set that includes social and dining etiquette, conversational skills, and handwritten correspondence will bring more in-depth levels of emotional and social intelligence. These skills will strengthen one’s relationships at home, at work and in the community.

GIVING BACK

The House of Letters is a supporter of worldwide education initiatives. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn in a respectful environment. A portion of all sales will be donated to a non-profit that shares the same values. Also, we periodically feature a non-profit that provides hope and relief to our communities and causes that benefit us all. Currently, we are featuring the organization Worldfund.

"Worldfund’s mission is to raise the quality and relevance of education in Latin America-the key to transforming lives and breaking the cycle of poverty."
