ABOUT

Etiquette has evolved over time. We live in an "always-on" culture and the constant demands of technology have changed the way we interact with each other. Many people struggle with face-to-face communication as they spend more of their lives behind screens. We edit ourselves online yet often do not possess the skills to interact face-to-face. An understanding of etiquette and social skills allows one to feel more comfortable in unfamiliar social and professional settings.

The House of Letters works with clients to embrace etiquette and social skills as a way to connect with ourselves and others. These soft skills are the foundation of emotional intelligence which can have a positive impact on our personal and professional lives. Our etiquette programs are based on the principles of respect, consideration, and authenticity. Through our training, clients learn to practice empathy in building strong relationships and to make kindness part of their everyday lives.

As a contemporary etiquette consultancy, we provide bespoke programs for youth and adults. Our inspired courses and workshops in social etiquette, dining etiquette, and business protocol are interactive and address the needs of our modern world.

Harvard University, The Carnegie Foundation, and Stanford Research Center concluded that social skills are responsible for 85 percent of job success and technical skills only 15 percent. We believe everyone has the ability to learn these skills.

The House of Letters welcomes you to take part in adding graceful flourishes to enrich your professional and personal lives. Topics within social etiquette, dining etiquette, and business protocol include:

*Dining Etiquette and Table Manners
*The Art of Conversation
*Social Skills for Students and Graduates
*Business Dining and Hosting
*Greetings and Introductions
*Being a Gracious Host and Guest
*The Power of the Handwritten Note
